South Waikato District Council is seeking a superstar to provide executive and project coordination support to the Executive Manager – Delivery and wider Delivery leadership team, enabling effective delivery of strategic priorities, communications, and cross-functional coordination.
Nga Kawenga me nga Mahi - Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide executive support to the Executive Manager, including calendar, meetings, and document coordination.
- Assist in preparing strategic documents, reports, presentations, and briefings.
- Coordinate cross-team initiatives and ensure smooth information flow.
- Track actions, risks, and deliverables for key projects and programmes.
- Support internal communications and engagement activities.
- Manage governance tasks such as agendas, minutes, and action tracking.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and forward-looking individual that has:
- Experience in executive coordination, project support, or local government environments
- Strong written communication, multitasking, and prioritisation skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and highly organised
- Ability to work discreetly and effectively with senior leaders.
