Te āheinga: The opportunity

As the Parks Officer – Native Vegetation Maintenance

• You will be working with other Park Officers and the Park Officer – Native Vegetation Management to maintain the native vegetation and wetlands areas of our beautiful district.
• You will also be assisting to complete the annual Parks and Reserves tree and shrub planting programme.

We are looking for an individual with:

• An understanding of local regulations, safety standards and environmental considerations.
• Knowledge of NZ native plant species.
• Experience in vegetation maintenance or a relevant industry.
• Current valid full Driver's Licence.
